Location and How to Get There

You can get to Nusa Penida by taking a fast boat from Sanur or Padang Bai in Bali. The trip takes around 1-1.5 hours. Once you’re there, you can rent a scooter or car to get to the snorkeling spots.

Tip: Renting a car with a local driver is highly recommended.

Best time to visit

If you want to go snorkeling in Nusa Penida, the dry season (April to October) is your best bet. The water’s really clear and the sea is calm, so you’ll have a great time exploring the underwater world.
